Term 6: June 11th – July 16th 2025  – PLEASE NOTE – THIS TERM IS A DRAWING TERM – NOT LIFE DRAWING ONE

Life Drawing is challenging and rewarding, but like drawing anything else, it takes practice and patience.

The best way to encourage practice is to vary the media and techniques available; to make sure this is feasible, we provide materials for free. This also allows more confidence as using expensive personal materials tends to inhibit experimentation.

You are, of course, welcome to bring your own materials and follow your own path.

Weeks 3 and 6 are a chance to work from one long pose with any material/technique you choose; the other weeks begin with warm-ups to help you prepare, normally followed by one or two poses following a theme. Sometimes the session is devoted to a worksheet-style drawing, using many poses on one sheet in different materials. These are a great opportunity to gain confidence in composition, materials and mark-making.

£105 for 6 x 2 hour session term or £20 cash drop-in option (just for our life drawing sessions)

Easels, materials and fresh coffee included.
