Drama Workshops with their basis in improvisation and devising, but including script.

For those who’ve been coming to us for a while, or who like to move a bit faster, this session is for you.

Come and join a lovely bunch of local budding thespians, who like to mess about, play games, take part in drama exercises and generally have fun while learning how to think on the spot, make up scenes and not always be restricted by the script.

You’ll explore scenes,  develop strong characters then improvise the content with some idea of the outcomes – Mike Leigh style.

We’ll also be developing some scenes and creating longer pieces, so be prepared.  We’d like to find opportunities to perform outside for those of you who are keen.

Term 1: Monday 22nd September – October 20th 2025

Term 2: Monday November 3rd – December 1st 2025

Term 3: Monday 5th January – February 2nd 2026

Term 4: Monday 23rd February – March 23rd 2026

Term 5: Monday April 13th – May 18th 2026

Term 6: Monday June 1st – June 29th 2026

(Thursday evening Improv Slams also running at the Old Road Tavern 7.30 – 9pm £12 drop in on second Thursday of the month. No booking needed )
