‘The most fun I have all week ‘

Drama Workshops with their basis in improvisation and devising, but including script – delivered by Laura.

For those who’ve been coming to us for a while, or who like to move a bit faster, this session is for you.

Come and join a lovely bunch of local budding thespians, who like to mess about, play games, take part in drama exercises and generally have fun while learning how to think on the spot, make up scenes and not always be restricted by the script.

You’ll explore scenes,  develop strong characters then improvise the content with some idea of the outcomes – Mike Leigh style. Some of our short form games are like ‘Who’s line is it anyway’ if you’re old enough to remember that?

We’ll also be developing some scenes and creating longer pieces, so be prepared.  We’d like to find opportunities to perform outside for those of you who are keen.

£60 for 5 week blocks 

Block 1 – Monday January 6th and 20th, Feb 3rd, March 3rd and 17th

Block 2 – Monday April 7th, May 19th, June 2nd and 16th July 7th.

(Thursday evening Improv Slams also running at the Old Road Tavern 7.30 – 9pm £12 drop in (£6 for 18-25’s) on the second Thursday of the month
